What are the benefits of undertaking the pursuit of Truth

If you have read the previous post on "purpose of life" and are convinced that you must now pursue the reality, read on.

Welcome to a an entirely new world. A world that demands that you reconsider all the preconceptions and conditionings of thought. An enticing prospect awaits those who are brave enough to take this long and exceptional journey in a quest for realisation of the Self – Atman.

What does one get by undertaking this journey?

You will discover that you were always free and never bonded to anything. You are free from bondage. ...and that you never needed any liberation!
You can respond to every situation – you will never need to react.
Discover an infinitude of compassion and gratitude that will change the way you live and work every day.

What will you not get?

Contrary to popular belief, one does NOT attain bliss. The term bliss is a bad translation of the Sanskrit word, Ananda. No one will reach a state of perpetual bliss where they will be smiling 24 x 7 without any reason!!

Problems will not go away – you will discover a much better way of managing them. Suffering will become optional.

You don’t have to retire to Himalayas for any reason unless you make that choice consciously.

What people discover is a deep joy and peace from within. This allows the person to share this with the people around them. This is the poornatvam or fulfilment that arises from shantam or peace!!

Enjoy the journey.
